I think one of the reasons that we have access to so many great healing therapies at the moment is because are all ready to remember our true nature but we are all different so we create our own different ways to access the Divine.Sophie Lhostehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01457810476921074810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6592184361292658094.post-64180636498927198572009-10-23T20:49:18.416-07:002009-10-23T20:49:18.416-07:00My "accidental" enlightenment: As a youn...My "accidental" enlightenment: As a young person, I did a complete denial of emotional shut-down for almost two years to deal with the death of both my parents. (No counseling in that era.) It was very isolating, but I welcomed the isolation and even enjoyed the state of melancholy. Inevitably, I came out of grief by opening up to a friendship, (not sexual.) I then got a surprise: an opening far and away out of the ballpark beyond "being in love" ...in the form of more than fifty "episodic" states of enlightenment over a period of two years. (One of which lasted for four days straight.) No drugs were involved.

After understanding what had happened for me, I was able to sustain that state indefinitely through practicing Alexander Technique and making art. Never wanted a following, because I would not recommend to anyone else to intentionally duplicate the way I became enlightened. Enlightenment comes as a complete surprise, and seems to continue to arrive in that fashion no matter how often I experience it.

It's my experience that enlightenment can happen in other ways. Perhaps the practice of Alexander Technique could also be an avenue? My Half Ofhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02535428140881202204noreply@blogger.com
