Raphael or Gabriel?

I had an interesting experience a few days ago. I was being visited by an archangel. When I asked who he was, he said: "Raphael". We talked. When he left a different but similarly large presence stood by me. We chatted and I asked who he was. "Gabriel" he said.

For the next thirty minutes or so (hard to tell the time when you are visiting with archangels) Raphael and Gabriel kept switching places. I was very quietly joyful as I always am in their presence but after a while my logical mind started wanting to make the difference between them. You know, 'be clear who I was talking to' kind of thing.

Being a modern girl I was going to look them up on Google! (I am laughing with you right now) or maybe in a Doreen Virtue book. But Gabriel, who was with me at the time I had that thought said: "Do NOT go to the computer now. Why do you want to learn about us through somebody else? Why do our differences matter? Learn us through your own experience of us." There was a sense that in my own experience was my own power.

Of course he is right! That is exactly how I learned to recognize Archangel Michael and Archangel Uriel: by spending time and visiting with them. My experience of them may be very common or it may be unique, I don't really know, because I never checked. But it doesn't matter. What matters is that I have a personal working relationship with them.

So: I have been told! And now they wanted me to tell you , so I did. And with this post written, I feel the wonderful, caring, tender love they always wrap me in when I work with them and I have followed their guidance.

Removing Energy Shields

Recently I have found myself doing some new work for many of my clients: I am removing energy shields.

As you know I can see energy as clearly as I see the furniture in my living room and recently dense structures have been shown to me in several clients' energies.

They are definitely shields that were created earlier on in life and that are a habbit from lifetimes of protecting oneself from oppressive energies. Like an outer shell allows the center to remain soft and tender. But now that energy healers and people of good will are safe to work without being victimized by the church or their neighbors, the shields

are not necessary anymore
are holding us back

They are heavy and stopping us from leaping during this Planetary Awakening
They are also rigid and are stopping us from growing and expanding.
They isolate as much as they protect and are stopping us from experiencing Oneness

So after years of

clearing past lives
removing curses and limiting oaths and vows
clearing family karma
changing archetypal issues

I am now removing unnecessary energetic shields.

I LOVE healing energy work! It just keeps unfolding into completely new areas I could not have predicted!

Mind Chatter

Another change brought by the recent energy upgrade is that I am now keenly aware of my mind chatter. I have been training myself for years so I am really good at consciously thinking positive. And after 20 years of Buddhist meditation training, I thought I could control my mind and at least be aware of negative thoughts. But last week my subconscious thoughts sounded like a constant stream of complaints, criticisms and self defeating stories!

I was AMAZED at how many times a day I caught myself going off track and back into some kind of familiar but uncomfortable negative, complaining or critical stream of comments, to myself. Not the kind of things I would ever say or that I ever knew I was thinking until a few days ago.

So I kept doing the energy work to eliminate, transmute and replace all that old garbage. I felt lighter and more able to think clearly by the hour! Alleluia!

I am so grateful I spent the past 12 years consciously training to be an energy healer and learning to facilitate the attunement of the soul to increasingly high levels of consciousness! It is coming in very handy this year!

More Tears? Release Pain!

Last Sunday was hard on a lot of people. It brought up:

more tears
depression
accidents
feelings of loneliness or isolation

Where did it come from? From:

having old issues come up again when we thought they were solved
being faced with the consequences of poor choices
experiencing the consequences of complacency
the need to let go of our old stories about ourselves

Why?
Because as we are being birthed into a new level of consciousness (that is why your head feels squished) we absolutely MUST RELEASE our habit and memory of PAIN, from this life and from past lives.

What if we don't?

As we open up so Divine Light can come in, our energy circuits, chakras, meridians, nervous and endocrine systems, that hold onto old, heavy, stuck energy that is not compatible with pure Divine light, those circuits will be FRIED by the charge of so much pure energy.

What to do:
pain is a heavy vibration. Like bags of sand around your ankles, in your kidneys (fear), in your liver (anger), in our lungs (sadness). It is stopping you from leaping, from ascending, from soaring.

So LET IT GO! And open up to the Light.
Allow yourself to be attuned to a higher vibration.

Yes, it feels weird, yes you also let go of some people, yes you don't recognize your world for a while. Yes, that too can feel lonely for a while.

But better things are coming. This is a birth: new life! So push with me through that birth canal and I'll see you on the other side, where there is more Light.

Staying Balanced During the Shift

Many of us are feeling like the sheer SPEED and DEPTH of the shift is leaving us:

still feeling disoriented
like we need to re-evaluate how we respond to life (yes, again)
like we are getting used to doing things differently
that as our vibration rises, we are not compatible with some of the people in our lives and some of our friends are dropping out along the way. It can be painful and sad.

The positive for the above are:

we can learn a new balance
we are still open to change and growth
we are moving into a new way of being, for good
it is VERY clear at the moment who in our life is on a similar path and who is not and we are making new friends who really support our growth. That is what creates more joy in the end.

So if you still feel like your wires are still somewhat 'fried', how can you go back to a more settled feeling? Here are some of the things that I find usually help:

Keep grounding yourself (bring roots into the ground from the sole of your feet)
Breathe!!
Drink a lot of pure water daily of course
Rest
Smell essential oils of lavender to re-balance you (You can also use it in a hot bath)
Be, ride the wave, don't try to be too analytical
Eat 'superfoods' such as spirulina, wheatgrass juice, raw cocoa, goji berries, kombucha tea etc
Eat berries and any raw nuts that your body is happy with, salads, raw foods

You need to do your own food research as I am NOT a nutritionist: I am speaking purely from personal experience! But overall, you are aiming to recharge in minerals and vitamins in the most natural way possible.

Being or Doing?

We are human BEINGS some say. All that doing and running around gets you nowhere fast.

All that being and knowing who you are is pointless: you need to TAKE ACTION.

When is a girl to meditate and when is she to take action with all this conflicting advice?

I think both are right. The question is not about Being Versus Doing, it is about

ALIGNING
purpose
being
intuition/guidance
effective doing

When all these are aligned, everything falls into place. You can easily follow your own rhythm of being, meditating, dreaming, creating in the mind, overcoming fear and doing/taking action. Meditation in action. Mindfulness in movement.

The being becomes sweeter because it is guilt free.
The notion of 'hard' work disappears as more peace permeates your life.
The doing becomes more effective because when it is aligned to your soul/core purpose, it becomes more targeted and you need to do much less for much better/more effective/greater results/rewards

That's when manifesting becomes fun! En-JOY!

Restoring Integrity

When the integrity of who we are is raped or violated in any way, physically, emotionally, spiritually or psychologically, it sets us on a course

of wanting to hide the wound
then the shame
of wanting to hide the part of us that has become vulnerable because we think it is going to protect us to do so
of wanting to hide our confusion when we try to tell and are told that our reality is 'not true'
of lying to placate the people who violated us

Others start wondering why we tell stories out of integrity and stop trusting us. They often think of us as aloof, distant, unloving and start withdrawing from loving interactions.
In a complex world of mirrors we lose the truth of the love we were meant to embody, to give and to receive.

We bend ourselves out of our energetic and often also out of physical shape
We start lying, most often unconsciously, to ourselves about what we like and want so we don't have to use the vulnerable/wounded part of our being
We start lying to others about what we really want from our lives and from our interaction with them

All it takes to break the cycle is for us to trust one person long enough and to allow that person to love us deeply enough that their love reminds us of the love of our Creator and RECONNECTS us, attunes us to the love of our Creator.

We KNOW this so deeply that abuse survivors are often desperate to be loved and held in love. Unfortunately they also unconsciously choose their loving partners from a place where the wound wants to play out again, be heard and create a different outcome this time, it hopes. This can lead to a series of painful relationships, either romantic or friendship, and break ups that create their own layers of violation and rejection.

Some of us were lucky to find the loving friend or spouse that loved us back to Love.
others work their way through self help books
or are visited by an angel who transforms them
or have a life experience that forces them to remember or to face their truth in a dramatic way (near death experience, life threatening illness, loss of a loved one a career or a home etc).
Some need the help of a trustworthy and compassionate healer or therapist (yes, you can call me and set up an appointment, I am an abuse recovery expert and have gone through it myself).

Most of us who recovered from the violation of abuse did so through a combination of all the above to create self love and restore our integrity.

Spiritual Beings Having a Human Experience

We have all heard the phrase: "We are spiritual beings having a human experience." I have known this to be true for years and until today I thought 'incarnating' (of the Latin 'carne' meaning flesh: coming in the flesh) meant that my spirit had come into a body, was choosing to use a human body as a vehicle. In the same way that my physical body uses a car and drives it. Which could explain why I have driven myself (and my body) so hard. My old way of looking at it is reflected in many creation myths where the Divine creates the earth and later creates humans out clay then blows spirit into them. (in-spir-es them)

But today I feel I have a completely new understanding of the phrase "I am a spiritual being having a spiritual experience": my spirit is not IN a human body. My spirit IS the physical body.

When I move, sing or dance, I am Spirit in action.

My spirit can choose to exist at so many levels of density, on so many different vibrational levels. At the moment I am choosing to exist at a denser vibration that is manifesting in the shape of a human body. Which explains why I remember so clearly the physical experience of having been angels of various sizes in the past. It was just me being in different ways.

It's so simple.

Why Can't I think Straight After a Big Aha Moment?

Oftentimes after a blinding enlightening experience, a resounding aha moment or a raise in our vibration, we can't think straight, use our cognitive skills, reason, articulate the experience or communicate. Why is that?

So we can rest and integrate:

1- We are tired.
Raising the spiritual vibration of a human body uses up a lot of energy. We burn energy as fuel for the transformation. Like studying for and sitting finals or running a marathon. You just need to rest, hydrate and eat well for a few days afterward to regain our balance.

2- Our circuits are fried.
The fact that a much higher current just ran through an antiquated system really stretches and taxes that system for most people. Again, rest, hydration and good food are the answer.

3- To preserve and integrate the upgrade
It would be easy for our 'logical' thinking to go into overdrive to try and control what just happened (some people call it the controlling ego). When we are 'too tired to think' the upgrade integrates in our energy system without being slowed down or stopped by our old thoughts.
By the time we feel better, the change has occurred and has become permanent so even our thinking is different by then. The new patterns are in place.

4- To receive more information
When we are asleep our critical conscious mind shuts down and our unconscious is open. It is a great time for the Divine, angels and Guides to come and whisper in our ear, give us information, communicate with us through dreams and images or to take us other places where we can learn more while the body is at rest. Ever woken up feeling like you suddenly knew something completely new or had the company of angels in your sleep?

My Mothering Patchwork Quilt

The mothering I received growing up was patchy to say the least. And just plain not enough for who I was and what I needed.

For many years I was extremely sad, sometimes even bitter or angry about it. And my heart was often cold.

Eventually I decided that I was a more pleasant person when I was happy so I decided to forgive. That took care of the angry bitterness but it did not keep my heart warm.

An Australian friend told me of a tradition where mothers sew a patchwork quilt for their child out of that child's favorite clothes, for years, adding the items one at a time. And the quilt grows with the child.

I started imagining the love my mother had given me as being a baby blanket that is the center piece of my patchwork quilt. Clearly that center piece was much too small for who I was as an adult so every time I met a woman that I felt was a good mother or who mothered me for a while, or gave wonderful hugs,

I imagined adding a patch of their loving mothering energy to my quilt.

I was creating my Mothering Patchwork Quilt,

not only in my mind but as a real energy of love around me.

My mothering patchwork quilt is quite big now. And very colorful. It is soft, comfortable. It keeps my heart and my whole energetic body warm, wrapped up in a comfy blanky of wonderful mothering love!

It has got so big that I can even share it with my kids, friends and clients.

If the mothering you received was insufficient, you can add to it any time, starting today, till you receive what your heart desires! En-JOY!!

Stand in Love

Thank you so much for being with me in this current wave of Planetary Awakening. In this life time I have been consciously aware of our current awakening for 11 years. Most of that time I traveled with one, maybe two friends by my side. So meeting so many wonderful individuals who are on the same path feels like true abundance and gives me great joy!

I have trained with such grounded, powerful, awe inspiring healers, spiritual masters and religious leaders that I am very confident in my abilities to read a situation or a person's energies. I know when what I know is true. I also know when I am not sure and I am not afraid to say so.

It is wonderful, inspiring and heart warming to witness humanity become aware of its own power at last.

My message today is that THERE IS NO END IN SIGHT. We can stop wishing that 'things would slow down' or 'become clearer' or be easier. They are not going to be for while. What we are going through is evolution of the same magnitude as when humans started walking erect or our thumb became oppositional to the fingers. But this time we are reshaping our endocrine system, our chemical balance, our emotions and our access to our spirituality and to the unused corners of our brains.
We are changing in order to adapt to new circumstances and it is not going to stop. if it did we would probably not survive as a race. At the very least we would stop thriving and learning. There is no space for stagnant complacency in our universe. Complacency breeds death. So here is what works at the moment:

Breathe deep
Sleep as much as you can
Ground yourself as often as you can/remember
Eat healthy nutritious foods
Open your minds to new possibilities
Trust your intuition
Learn as many healing techniques as you need
Make friends who understand what you are going through
Create a supportive spiritual community for yourself
Be prepared to lose everything you know or have in order to be reborn and hopefully you won't have to go through all that.

This is by no means the end of the world but it most certainly is the end of the world as we have known it in our recorded history.

I am constantly given glimpses of the future and the future is not scary. It is potentially more peaceful, more creative, more aware, more enlightened. We still need to let go of the old in order to give birth to the new.

Stand in your power.

Stand in your JOY.

Stand in love for yourself

Stand in love for others

Stand in the Heart of God

Those are the keys.

Healers Leaping!

This week many healers, energy workers and enlightened individuals are reporting similar body sensations and a sense that "We are in the process of being "prepared" for Truth at a level not really experienced by the majority of the population." (Jeff Staebell)Something big is happening right now. Or has just happened maybe? I don't think it's over. It feels like we are right in the middle of it in fact, with today being the apex. This Mother's Day is going to be another powerful day for transformation if in your heart of hearts you are willing to leap at the crest of the wave.

First we felt confused, then great, peaceful and light. Later comes the realization of HOW MUCH we have changed and the need to ANCHOR the new energy we embody.

After the leap, it is imperative to stay more grounded. We are used to thinking of spiritual energy 'out there' but this week's shift is about anchoring spiritual energy down here. Anchoring the Light from Source down here in the third dimension will more available to people who are not yet so proficient with energy play.

I am abundance, prosperity and wealth.

I am the abundance of time I have with my children as I am raising them. I am the abundance of friends who have loved me and my family throughout my life. I am the abundance of space, nature and fresh air that surround me daily. I am the abundance of support, mentoring, advice, love, patience that I have received all through my life. I am the abundance of freedom that I live with.

I am the prosperity of the peace and beauty that surround me in my village. I am the prosperity of my family's health. I am the prosperity of my spiritual growth, like a tree reaching for the Light. I am the prosperity of the nourishment I offer others who are also growing spiritually.

I am the wealth of opportunities that have come my way throughout my life. Opportunity to travel, to learn, to share, to love, to work, to rest.
I am the wealth of knowledge and wisdom I have gathered over the years. I am the wealth of remedies, flower essences, crystals, energy tools and love I use to support you in creating health, wealth, prosperity and abundance in YOUR life.

I can honestly say that I have done what I wanted with my life.

In 1989, 10 years out of high school and having lived in large cities though Europe, traveled and learned a lot already, I was walking through a beautiful English park with my then husband. I dreamed of traveling some more, of living somewhere safe, peaceful, quiet and beautiful, of working from a home we owned in a job where my clients would feel welcome (I thought I was going to run an inn, I did not know I was going to be a healer). I wanted my dog and my cat by me all day long. Those were my dreams.
Now I have all of that. Plus amazing kids that I did not know I wanted, plus my being a healer, that I did not know I was, plus living in the USA, that I did not know I would love!

In my life I have had or created the opportunity to do anything I wanted to. I have traveled to all the places I really wanted to go to. I have raised my kids exactly as I wanted to even though it was rather unconventional. I have been free when I wanted to be. I have been loved beyond measure. I am safe, held, blessed, abundant, prosperous and wealthy in SO many balanced ways that all weave into each other!

Wending Season

Wending means:
to direct one's course
to proceed on one's way. "Wending our way"

It is the wending season. There are so many possibilities open to us at the moment, so many potential paths. We literally create as we think right now.

There are portals open to allow us to cut through history and be in the eternal now.

Time to clear all negative patterns and to think positive thoughts only.

Time to really think about what we want. Do YOU know?

Practical Oneness

Feeling confused with what's going on in your life right now? Wondering why nothing is working like it used to? Please don't tell me it's because Mercury is retrograde: this goes way beyond that!
Wondering what to plug into where?

For everybody out there who is struggling with the current pushing and shoving that the Universe is lovingly making available to us to get us out of our old patterns and into more joy: hang in there, you are not on your own!

Right now many of us seem to be receiving very mixed messages:

love more, but NOT like before
let go BUT build at the same time
flow with intuition BUT remember how important structure is

That kind of thing.

It seems to me that life/the Divine is trying to show us a third way in everything that matters to us. Shaking us to shed our old dualistic ways of thinking and doing things. Pushing us to shed our "either/or" attitudes and habits to create a more unified, complex, subtle, rich, INCLUSIVE way of being and doing.

We are definitely being given PRACTICAL lessons into ONENESS!!

Trust Meditation

Just had a wonderful meditation where I was imagining my path showing up in front of me just as I need to find it to take my next step.

Some fear arose. I asked what it was and realized that I was scared that if I trusted completely, the Divine would lead me to the edge of a metaphorical cliff and push me over the edge to show me that I could fly. I could see myself being ABLE to fly but really not enjoying the feeling.

Then the message came loud and clear: "We would never ask yo to do that"
"Why not I asked?"
"Because we know you don't like flying sensations. We will get yo where you need to go in a way that is comfortable for you"

I cried with joy.

Even now I still forget how much the Divine loves me. Loves all of us. I forget how much tenderness and support is available!

Joyful Creation Machine

Two weeks ago I had a new download of enlightening energy. It came as a result of YEARS of energy healing work, a very clear intention to be a channel for Divine Light in this world and 2 excellent chiropractic adjustments from my wonderful friend Nancy. I also know my boat is being floated by the general wave of Planetary Awakening occurring in the past month or so.

I woke up the morning after the first adjustment to find that the Light I used to go up to was sitting right on top of my head. I was being attuned to a higher vibration again! My head was tingling like mad. After a few hours, the Loving Light entered through my crown chakra. Over the next 2 weeks it gently moved down through my body, transforming each cell, clearing and balancing chakras in the most powerful way I have ever experienced, transmuting much negativity into pure joy.

An unexpected side effect is that my memory, which became very hazy when I was very ill 8 years ago has come back.

Another side effect is that when I tried to think about what was hapening, talk about it or move away from my beautiful corner of peaceful nature I had a nasty migraine. The migraine cleared up as soon as I stopped thinking, sat back or walked in nature and just went with the flow! Easy!

The Light and Love energy is in every cell of my body now, all the way to the sole of my feet. So now I can, more then ever, see the good in every one and I truly love every one on this planet and beyond. In the whole universe really.

I also feel more respect for my body as a beautiful expression of the Divine. I am not talking about how pretty or how thin, more what an amazing complex perfect CREATION MACHINE it is. And for the first time in my life I am finding it easy to honor that.

I am choosing joy as my daily experience. Whirling into the Heart of God and embodying the Light is why I am here.

The Light and my new body vibration are taking about 3 weeks to integrate into my life. i am finding a new balance again. I feel that I am now fully into the Heart of God. Which of course does not make me by any mean perfect or special. Just more joyful!

In my every day practical life, because there are only 24 hours in a day and I live mostly (though not always!) in the present and through this body, I spend time in places and choose to interact with people who harmonize with Light, Joy and Respect so we can flow and create together.

Together we learn, love, flow and create!

What is Happening to my World?

What is happening to my world? (In a good way!)

My Accuweather page this morning has a box saying: "Beneficial Weather conditions create a lowered risk of a migraine headache, and will help to make a headache less severe and of shorter duration." As a migraine sufferer 25 years ago, I knew that to be a fact when all that was available to me was a very strong pain killer.

Seth Godin posted on his blog today about how in his opinion USA Higher Education is heading for a Marketing disaster because most schools are offering dramatically increasing costs and bland experiences that they target average students and that too many people are getting into decades of debt in a job market that is not helping them pay that debt back. I've been saying that for a while. But I live in a College town so it's not been a very popular thought!

My local supermarket is now actively promoting the benefits of probiotics and offers 4 different brands, some of them very good, that 30 years ago only my friend with very weird hippy parents knew about (they mad their own yogurt of course) and that 15 years ago I could only find by mail order or in obscure Health Food Stores.

And my FAVORITE one this year: the Massachusetts Department of Public Health states on page 28 of its: "Flu: What You Can Do - Caring for People at Home" booklet: "Care for the Caregiver" : "To maintain your strength and ability to take care of others, it is important to: Stay in the present. Focus on simple and manageable tasks"
That is a very powerful standard Eastern meditation practice that must have finally made it to the main stream! Hooray! Now when I started meditating in 1989, I can tell you that it was NOT standard medical advice to 'stay in the present'!

Every week I come across main stream advertisement that openly talks about creating a balanced life, emotions and even angels that 15 years ago were considered woo-woo subjects.

Even a Raw diet is gaining in popularity!

So this morning my reaction to all this is dual:

1- I am HAPPY that all this good juicy life-enhancing knowledge is now mainstream, everyday common sense for many.

2- I am wondering: what do I know now that will be completely main stream in 5 or 10 years? How long will it take for people

to be able to cure illness with a thought?
to understand that it IS possible to completely recover from trauma with energy work?
to hear that you can revert Diabetes type 2 with diet,
eliminate depression with energy healing
that auto immune disease DOES go away with lifestyle changes and energy healing
that using energy at home brings a fever down, calms children down, creates good relationships with other family members
that energy transmissions/attunements DO raise your vibration AND help you think more clearly and feel more joyful and ways that 'you can't explain'

Life is so exciting right now! I cannot wait to see what people will be taking for granted 10 or 20 years from now!

Flow

There are people in this beautiful world of ours who only feel satisfied when they can control everyone around them. Even is that means destroying someone else's happiness or joy in order to gain control over them while they are sad, depressed, ill, miserable or feeling victimized. Because when the 'victim' are undermined and cannot do for themselves, they suddenly need support, right? So guess who is suddenly available to swoop in and help/support/rescue them? Yes: the 'destroyer' themselves.

My mother was one of those people whose low self esteem only allowed her to be happy when we were unhappy and needed her. So I learned at a VERY young age (definitely before I was 2) that it was DANGEROUS to be happy, to look free, to laugh, to express happiness in front of her because it would TRIGGER her anger and resentment and set her into destructive action. I learned that it was easier for me to repress creativity, flow and happiness rather than let it arise and watch her destroy it. THAT pain I could not take.

So I nearly died as an infant, by the time I was 2 I was scarily 'well behaved' and by the time I was 7 I was chronically depressive. My unconscious programming was set to 'no fun, no happiness, no flow, no creativity coz they're dangerous'. Wow! What a legacy!

I started therapy at 20, meditation at 27, developed awareness and over the years I allowed myself to be happy and joyful again. But I would still get STUCK on a regular basis. Physical pain. Lack of cash FLOW on a boringly regular basis. Stop-start artistic flow/inspiration: sometimes I could paint sometimes I didn't. Sometimes I was fun to be with and a lot of the time until recently I definitely was not.

I got over a lot of that in my 20s. Then in my 30s I had children and unconsciously associated having kids with 'being stuck', because that is how my mother felt about motherhood so it started all over again when I became a mother. That also started me on my journey as a conscious healer because I was determined to heal myself and change my children's legacy! I became a Reiki Master, a Kinesiologist, a Quantum Healer. I do energy work for myself and my family all day, every day! That is just how we live now. I know a lot about energy by now, I am an expert!

The word FLOW came to me in a meditation recently. The remedy was to take ACTION that encouraged flow in my life. It's working: this morning I was laughing out loud playing ball with the dog then dancing to Flamenco music!
My kids wish I could have been more fun when they were little. They have all articulated that wish to me. I was not and it's ok because for the most part I looked the other way when they were playing and having fun or doing arts so I would not interrupt their creative flow. It's worked and now they are older, THEY are teaching me how to be me, how to have fun and how to flow.

I feel like I am finally coming into balance and loving life all that much more! TOGETHER, we learn.

PS: Of course, on a soul level, I know I chose my family and created the experience to become the healer that I am now. But in THIS lifetime and in THIS body, I still had to understand and release the 'repressed joy' pattern to crawl away from under that rock and into the sunshine!

Don't Sacrifice For Me

Please do not sacrifice for me. Love me joyfully, love me in plenty, love me AFTER you love YOU. Create for me and with me.

But please, please, please, please, please: do not sacrifice for me. Do not, ever, create lack in your own life in order to provide for me.

DO NOT CREATE PAIN IN MY NAME.

Do not create resentment in your life that you can later use against me because you sacrificed and deprived yourself for me. Do not ever think that you are better than me because you created suffering in your own life.

It's really simple: if it's a sacrifice: DON'T DO IT!!

Don't spread the pain and the misery.

Do NOT, ever, use me as an excuse for your own suffering.

When I look at it as an energy pattern , sacrifice strangles a person's energy. Sacrifice looks narrow and straight. Like a long tall narrow bottle without curves. I don't fit in that narrow space of energy.

There is enough for everybody.

There is a plenty of all the love, energy and resources that we could possibly need in our everyday lives.

There is always a way to flow, to make the magic happen, to jive, to harmonize, to watch prosperity and opportunities unfold if only we let them.

So please, when you love me, create with me and for me. When you create in my name, share from abundance. Create beauty, more respect, more opportunities. Work WITH me on creating wealth. Give to me WITH JOY. TEACH me what you know about abundance and growth and nature. MIRROR for me the myriad opportunities of the world, the endless love of the Divine, the joy and laughter of little children, the beauty of the rose, the joy of compassion, the bliss of eternity.

If you respect me please create from love and abundance WITH me and I will gladly receive.

What is Your Baseline?

I talked yesterday about our ups and downs and it occurred to me recently during a session with a client that it is important to be aware of our current baseline in order to understand our ups and downs.

Our baseline varies with circumstances, health and age.

After we studied for finals, had a baby or got divorced, our base line is lower. So we look 'down' to other people more easily and more often. We might be on one of our 'up' days but because at that time of our lives our baseline is much lower than most people's, they are wondering what is 'wrong' with us.

The same is true of individuals who have auto-immune disorders. So go easy on them! What looks to you like a bad day might be their best day of the week! Support them in enjoying that and celebrate their victory with them, even if for you it's an every day occurrence.

Feeling Someone Else's Energy

Tonight I was telling a lovely friend how I realized what my gift is: I attune people to a higher vibration, just by being with them. Her response was : "YOU DO! Tune people to a new higher frequency. I felt it. You are so multi-dimensional." She reminded me how last August she offered to show me her world.

I had been worried about something since childhood and she said: "No need to worry! The world is wonderful and safe. Take my hand and I will walk you through these gardens, I will show you how lovely it is here at night."

She remembers: "You took my hand as we walked back to the hotel... and said, "Is this how you see the world?" And, I knew, you really saw the world through my eyes. It was the most incredible experience."

I really did see the world through her eyes. And it WAS a most incredible experience to experience the gardens through her perception. The smells were sweeter and more intense, I was at peace. For the first time in my life I felt young, little, safe and loved in a world full of promise.

In that moment she healed my inner child more deeply than any therapist ever had. Because she loved me enough to want to share her world with me, with an open heart and because I trusted her enough to let her take care of me.

I think of her often and am endlessly inspired by her sparkly love for life. What I did not know until tonight was that it was an important moment for her as well.
She says: "I have been given the gift to show others this world...but... you were the first person, who reacted, just by holding my hand. Now that is a higher vibrational level..."

So in receiving from her I also gave to her. One heart.

And you see: it IS quite possible to feel/read/perceive someone else's energy. I felt my friend's and she was clearly aware of my feeling it. We shared her vision of the world for a moment.
Energy is real and it is contagious.
I am safe and forever expanding in a world of infinite possibilities.

The Ups and Downs

Everyone has their ups and downs. That is because we are pure energy and energy works/travels in waves. Up and down like a wave.
When we are 'down' we haven't done anything 'wrong'. We are at the bottom of the wave. Things will pick up, guaranteed, particularly if you acknowledge the wave and just let it be.

We become 'depressed' when we think that being at the bottom of the wave is 'bad'. So we attach a story to it and that story sinks us. It stops us from coming back up.

Being hyper because we think that the up, the crest of the wave, is the only acceptable or productive way to be does not help any more. It is just as unrealistic and does not give us any down time or allow us to rest.

The downs are good to rest but also to go within, to be more introspective and to seed new ideas.

The ups are more about doing, about expanding into the world. And the downs are more about being.

We all have our own rhythms, the seasons create rhythms and our culture creates different pressure at different times.

Embrace the downs as well as the ups, I say. Breathe through them and allow yourself to just BE sometimes.

Remembering Oneness

I have been wondering why there are so many different individuals channeling so many different beings (you know: like Esther Hicks with Abraham). They all have different names but their messages are very similar in essence and their energies feel very similar to me. All very sweet, supportive, practical, to the point.

So I asked.

And I was told that when we tried to access the Divine through centralized organized religions the damage to out hearts and creativity was tremendous. So this time the Divine is making sure that the information we need to access in order to awaken as a collective remembering its way to Oneness is spread among as many individuals as possible. One truth, many voices.

I have been noticing for the past 10 years that dozens of people spontaneously receive similar information. Some monetize, some don't. Some live by it, some don't. Some spread the knowledge in books and audios, some don't. But it's the same message all right:

We are remembering Oneness

We come from Love and we are forever returning to Love

We are the creator and the created

We are remembering that we are at the forefront of creation in expansion

Fear and negative emotions stand in the way of our contributing to the expansion of creation

We are individually responsible for the collective and changing ourselves changes the whole

It's s quite simple really.

And there's nothing new.

Difference is: we are starting to listen, to understand and to use those simple truths in our everyday lives. That's what we are calling Planetary Awakening.

Gratitude Heals

I think that GRATITUDE is the most healing aspect of Love.

The Light is Right There!

I only have a few minutes but I really want to say something about what is happening this week: the energy is really pushing to change fast again. It feels to me as if the earth is re-aligning itself and in so doing giving us the space to do the same.

A lot of people seem to have had a challenging week and FaceBook is full of people talking about eating chocolate today! We must all need comfort!

The good thing is that:

I am becoming aware of more and more individuals awakening in the last few days.
Others are more comfortable showing their talents and strengths
many seem to be finding balance between spirituality and everyday life
The angels are really present, available and helpful!
the Light is RIGHT THERE: ready to become you and enlighten you in your body!

Angels Are Everywhere All the Time

Angels come in all shapes and sizes. Most of them have specialty jobs. All are tremendously helpful and willing to support us in any way that we need and that they are capable of.

They are all around us all the time but their vibration is so much finer than ours that we often miss their presence or don't hear their message.

Slow down, be still and ask them to let themselves be known to you: they are there, always.

And if you need to, ask someone who is also a human angel to reconnect you with your angels. When I am going through a bad patch, I ask friends to reconnect me with my posse. (See the PS to last Saturday's post I Miss My Wings)

Cultivate Awareness to Discover Unconscious Beliefs

How do you discover what your unconscious beliefs are? Cultivate awareness!

Last Monday (This was written on Nov 25, 2009) I wrote about how what I am worth is created by my unconscious beliefs. So how do I discover what those unconscious beliefs are?

I want to share a rather personal example that came to light in my life only a few days ago because I believe it is rampant in our culture.

A friend of mine insisted for months that I hated men and that I needed to get over it fast. I found that really surprising because believe me when I tell you that I like and love men!

So I dug a little deeper. Nothing.
I muscle tested around the beliefs that I hated men, did not like them, etc. Nothing.

I decided to let it be and just watch myself ~ awareness, Baby! ~

I lay low like a cat pretending to sleep, waiting for the mouse to dash across the room. And all of a sudden, there it was: a very, very quick thought, barely formulated, censured as it was being born, because it runs contrary to what I WANT to believe and how I CHOOSE to live. I was watching TV. Some sad story of what humans can do to each other sometimes. And I heard myself think "Not surprising. Men are b*****ds" Woh, woh, woh, WOH! Hold on a minute! Where did THAT come from?

Quick flash of shame. Quick look around the room. Did anyone hear that thought? Pheeww! No one around. And it WAS a thought anyway!

Non-judgement, Sophie. Non-judgement! BREATHE.... Have the compassion you would have for one of your clients.
Ok, got that.

Back to the cat lying in wait. And there it is: in French, of course, I can hear my mother say the equivalent in French. I'll spare you the translation!

It is relevant to share with you that both her and I were raised by violent cruel men who often behaved not very nicely and were emotionally, verbally and physically abusive. It leaves a legacy that you understand if you've been there but I sincerely hope for you that you cannot quite imagine what I mean.

So I did NOT hate men, which would be a choice and a strong emotion. But underneath my conscious life choices I was taught to believe that the only explanation for the abuse women suffered in my family (and by extension the whole world) was that "men are b******ds". A little simplistic I know. But hey, most ideas are simple when you are an infant, a toddler, an 8 year old.
I have also remembered many lifetimes that compounded that belief.
I think I was probably born ready for that thought to be programmed in my neuro-net. So whenever a man did something I did not understand or that reminded me of past abuse in any way, that thought was triggered and ran its little routine, creating more trouble in my present.

Can you see how insidious and subtle those deeply embedded karmic or familial or cultural beliefs can be?

I removed that belief yesterday and I feel much lighter! Now I can align myself to my conscious truth which is that I like and love men!

When clients come to me in a session it's a lot easier to work with them than with myself because I can hear their thoughts, feel their emotions and their body's reactions OUTSIDE of me. So I know exactly what is going on and I can unearth their hidden negative beliefs on their behalf. But when we work on ourselves, AWARENESS is really the key. Until we feel that we are in alignment with Love, in our actions as well as emotions. Because Love is all our Soul truly wants.

This post was written on Nov 25 2009, just a couple of days after I cleared that negative family belief about men. At the time I did not have the courage to publish it because the story it tells felt so personal. Now I think it is important to share it with you because so many of us UNCONSCIOUSLY carry old familial beliefs.

I Miss my Wings

Some days I am so tuned into angel communication that human communication becomes very awkward, cumbersome and difficult. I find myself wondering why people are being so obtuse, why I have to explain everything to them, why they can't read my mind. Why they can't hear the music in the silence or see the waves of energy around everyone.

On such days the whisper of the trees sounds loud to me and I feel emotionally bruised from walking into solid walls that I don't expect to be there. The way other people make their decisions makes no sense to me: it is all so linear and limited. I wonder why so few can see the endless possibilities in the eternal present.

On such days I miss my wings and the sadness can be overwhelming.

Then I remember to ground myself, eat well, go for a walk. Being in nature particularly helps. Eventually I can go to sleep and fly off to where I feel I belong that I can resource my energy and try again tomorrow to be a functional human angel.

Thinning of the Veils

As usual I am not exactly sure what is going on but I am sure that there is a thinning of the veils and an opening of portals at the moment. Which means that we are all being given many opportunities to transform ourselves and to raise our vibration. The journey remains personal, the awakening is collective. I used to think it was planetary. Now I see that it is in the whole of Creation.

It is quite unsettling and is forcing us to let go of more baggage fast, to speak our truth even more than before, to flush out old ideas, to let go. Did we really still have very much to let go of?

Anyone who thinks they have it all figured out is really kidding themselves right now, let me tell you this much!

Don't look at me for definite answers because we are creating as we answer but I am happy to hold the vibration with you and to create a loving heart space as we raise our vibration together!

In our linear time we are running out of time in the old paradigm and about to be born into the next dimension. Remember that in the eternal present all is well.

Thankfully angels are very, very present and available to assist us as we do our work in our human bodies. Call on them liberally and if you are stuck, as I was for the past several days, ask another who communicates with angels to help reconnect you, protect you and support you. You deserve it and we all need each other to do our best work right now.

We are One and together we learn. Through us the Divine knows itself. We are creation, created and Creator.

How Do we Create What we Consciously Want?

"How do we create only what we consciously want?"

the very first thing is to find out what our soul purpose is because easy manifestation only happens when the specifics of what we wish to create in our everyday life is aligned to our general soul purpose/incarnation objective
we create a specific intention that is aligned to the core of our soul purpose
we find the blocks in our unconscious programming that prevent alignment between soul, emotions & intention
we remove them
sometimes we download a positive pattern we were lacking
we just watch life force flow where we used to be stuck

It's that simple: for the most part, we JUST REMOVE THE BLOCKS. We go to the Quantum Field where all creation is being created in the eternal present and decide to remove the block.

If what we desire IS aligned with our soul purpose, then the block to what we want is often an old idea:

a feeling or emotion we absorbed from our parents/carers as infant 'sponges'
something we were taught
something we used to want
a decision we made in the past that served us well then and it does not anymore.

Whatever it is, it is now obsolete and it stands in the ways of what we consciously want to create. We need to remove it to keep energy and love flowing.

Energy never disappear, it just is. So we don't make the block disappear as such: we transmute it. We change it into something else. We dissolve what is now perceived as negativity back into love so we can shape it again into something else. That is why the energy of St Germain and the Angels of the Violet Flame are so helpful in this process: St Germain was an alchemist and the violet ray is the energy of transmutation.

The quantum field is non-judgemental and infinitely malleable. In the quantum field your life is like putty in your hands, you can sculpt your brain and forever reshape your energy system. So the main question is not so much HOW do you change energy and thinking patterns? That is done through intention and I can easily teach you that in one of my workshops. The real questions are:

What blocks do YOU want to remove so your desires can blossom? What pain do YOU want to dissolve back into love today?

A good Twitter friend who reads my mind on a regular basis tweeted this last year when I needed to hear my own thoughts come from someone else:

"She Knows the LEAP OF FAITH Changes REALITY."

Of course for a leap of faith to occur, you need to TRUST. I think this happens mostly when:

you follow your intuition
you have created your unique relationship with the divine
you have support
you find a portal, an opening, a gateway into the Heart of God. This can be a healer or a spiritual or religious mentor, a spiritual practice, a prayer or a spontaneous occurrence.

Then you can leap. And change your reality. Create.

Breakdowns Are Good

The general consensus is that breakdowns are bad. Unwanted, unpleasant, destructive, damaging, disruptive. Nobody likes them. Of course. Nor do we invite them in. But when a nervous breakdown happens, is it really the end of the world? or is it a chance to build anew? What is broken needs to be built again and this time we can build differently. Maybe the first time around we did not have so much of a choice. Maybe this time we can do better because we know better.

I really think that a breakdown is God/the Universe giving us a chance to let the Light shine through the crack.

When we rebuild we can examine each building block and decide if we want to keep it or not during the healing process. What we decide to push out of our habits or consciousness makes space for the new.

So now is a great chance to ask for help, to allow yourself to receive support and heal to create the you that you really want, with a different intention. A peaceful, joyful you!

Angel Presence

I learned several years ago that whatever I go through spiritually is a reflection of what is going on 'in the universe'. I obviously go with the general flow.

So considering the visits, feelings and messages I have been having for the past 10 days I will say that ANGELS and ARCHANGELS are VERY present at the moment (See my post earlier this week). In large numbers and making themselves very accessible. This is being confirmed by friends and other healers. It is clear that we currently need protection because we are on the move again and in the process of changing deeply again.

I am feeling very inspired, my guidance is crystal clear.
I am very connected to others, to the whole, to Oneness. I can feel what others feel more than ever before. I think something and it will come out of someone else's mouth within the hour, several times a day. I ask a question and the answer appears, in an email, a tweet or an article, that day. Same old thing, but FASTER and CLEARER.

What is this transformation about?

looking after ourselves properly. Sounds simple, right? But pay close attention to that one as it is the foundation for everything else in our lives
taking responsibility for what we have created, are creating and will create
being shown how much of an illusion time and space are, if we are open to it

I think that right now in our human time, the ETERNAL NOW is open to those who know how to access it, more easily than ever before in the history of creation unfolding. The Creator is asking for our input. We are the Creator as well as its Creation unfolding and now is the time to take responsibility for our every action, thought and wish.

Think positive thoughts only and humbly remind each other daily!

I am often asked how I keep going.

The first thing I do is to constantly look for inspiration.

1- My main inspiration comes from the Divine, of course.

It comes to me through:

angels
guidance
other healers' readings, sessions and advice
dreams
walking meditation
sitting meditation
trusted friends' comments
Reiki sessions I give myself
prayer (which is more of a request for me than an open meditation)

How do I receive the messages from angels and guides?

Mostly I FEEL that I should do something. Go somewhere, enter a store, pick up a book from my shelf at home, phone someone, post a specific tweet at a certain time. Or I feel what another person is feeling.

If I missed the subtle feeling, the information will come as a VERY CLEAR VOICE. It's not always the same voice, because it's not always from the same guide or angel. But those voices have a clarity, authority, tone that are very specific, recognizable and different from my 'inner chatter'.

After years of resisting hearing those voices and being plagued by migraine headaches, I eventually gave in; the migraines disappeared overnight & life is so much easier with someone, who knows better, telling me what to do!

Recently I have been having more KINESTHETIC EXPRERIENCES. Yesterday I felt as if I was being gently pushed towards my bookcase. It felt like an archangel's wing. Large, very protective, gentle, determined. I noticed a book I have had for 15 months and never opened. The answer to my current issue was right there in that book.

Another source of inspiration comes from my friends. I surround myself with friends who are open-minded, have a deep heart, accept my spirituality, support my parenting, understand my way of life. Remember: energy is contagious so the vibration of those around you affects how you feel, what you think and therefore how you conduct your life. You deserve to be supported in your every day life so you can be your best you!

3- I read inspirational tweets, inspirational books, I watch videos and read blogs from great modern thinkers, whether I agree with them or not: it keeps my brain cells wondering, wandering and vibrating!

Saturday's Angels

I had two very clear angel encounters on Saturday.

1- I was emotionally upset. A current situation was stirring up old childhood pain. It is my intention to stay in joy and away from those old wounds. So I asked for help with the pain.

Nearly instantly I felt surrounded, supported, soothed. The pain was literally lifted from my heart. My whole body relaxed. The pain in my left shoulder lessened dramatically (today the Physical Therapist could not believe how much better it was from last week).

The greatest peace settled in my heart, in my mind. I was content to the core of my being where a minute previously I had been thrashing negative ideas.

Without questioning, I gave thanks, settled back into enjoying life and got on with the day.

2- A few hours later I felt a large wing gently push my right shoulder and guide me towards my book shelf. A book I have had for 15 months and had forgotten about caught my attention. As soon as I noticed the book the sense of touch stopped on my shoulder and I felt a deep sense of satisfaction. The angelic presence was pleased and was sharing that feeling with me.

I had no idea what the book was. I opened it and one paragraph put an end to 2 moths of wondering about my work:
"Here's my suggestion to the skeptics and "experts", for a refreshing change of pace. We're done proving there's life after death. We've proven it well past our own satisfaction. From now on, let's do it this way: you prove that there's not." Sylvia Browne

Inspired Decision

I have been thinking about inspiration lately. More specifically: how do I make an inspired decision? You know the kind of decision I feel really good about, everything falls into place easily, other people like it, the outcome is good for all concerned.

By definition an inspired decision comes from Spirit (Merriam Webster: "inspired: outstanding or brilliant in a way or to a degree suggestive of divine inspiration" ): mine and the Divine's.

I have to listen and pay attention to find out what Spirit is suggesting to me.

In the silence, in the pause, in the space in between, there lies the inspired answer.

Protected Feminine Energy Today

Because of the energies that are at play today it is a very good day to do Goddess work & to connect with the Feminine aspect of the Divine in a safe & protected way. So it is a good day to resolve whatever relationship upsets arose last Friday. I noticed last week-end a lot of relationships being volatile. Many women telling me they were feeling lonely. Some were revisiting old relationships and mentioned feeling betrayed, used or guilty. There was a whole bag of old negative emotions being kicked up around the full moon.

Why?

So we can let go of all that and move on!

So we can make a clear space to create from.

I know of several of us who did just that!

In romantic relationships in particular, today's energy is safe because it is balanced between the male and female energy. Safety is conducive to a loving and therefore honest dialogue.

That's right: when you are being completely loving, you are being completely in truth. Love is where we come from, where we are going back to and what we are.

When you are feeling loved enough to be vulnerable and safe at the same time, you can communicate your truth and hear/receive the other person's truth.

You don't need to fix anything at this stage. You only need to sit in love and with truth and see what is resolved. See what happens next or comes to your heart-mind next.

Juice Feasting Day 4: Last Day

On hearing that I was juice feasting my wonderful friend Alice said: "You're so good to your bod already, seems like. Purely Sophie. Should be in a bottle. I'd buy some! What toxins could you possibly have if you eat mostly raw and juicing already?"

1- I do eat MOSTLY raw: 70% in winter, 50% in the holidays to be socially acceptable (more on this here)... and about 90% in summer.

I am not overly worried about what I normally eat. I think my body does stay pretty balanced with it. Recently I was anxious and ate a lot more cooked food than usual for a couple of months so that does need to be detoxed.

2- I really wanted to reach and eliminate old, old toxins that were deeply entrenched. They were only going to be released when I was ready to release the old emotions attached to them.
On the second day of my Juice Feast I had many breakthroughs and realizations. I felt that I had reached what I needed to with this detox. I had reached the next level of awareness on my journey.

I kept going because I had planned to. Stubborn, me? Never! Again I would have done well to listen to my guidance (Are we on a theme here? I think so!) because on Day 4 my body rebelled and I decided to go back to my normal diet.

I am grateful that I have achieved what I set out to do. I am glad that what used to take 3 weeks now happens in 2 days! Which means that overall my body is fairly clear and very responsive.

Juice Feasting Day 3: Higher Vibration

Today I feel that I am in a higher, finer vibration. I am:

1- more peaceful:

I barely felt the full moon last night. I am usually affected by the full moon, in an intense, heightened sort of way but last night's full moon was the most peaceful one I've had since my teens I think.

2- more keenly aware. Which means that

I feel emotions more fully, both positive and negative. But the emotions also pass through much more easily and I return to center much faster than usual. So more peaceful overall as nothing lingers in my system
and I am more accurate and able to read energy: I'll give you an example: this morning, out of the blue, I saw in my mind's eye a friend of mine meeting with his sister today, which would be unusual. Then his text said: "Getting ready for church". I instantly knew what church he was going to and that was his mother's, not his sister's. When I called in the afternoon, I felt her presence so strongly around him that I thought he was at her house. No: she had come to the church I saw him going to, for an event I knew nothing about! I had to laugh!

3- more able to move my shoulder.

4- grateful that 2 hours after I wished for a better juicer a friend offered to lend me one and to bring it to me. I love you Nancy!

5- determined to follow my intuition to the letter again. For the past 2 months I have tried to be more 'reasonable' and logical. I am now keenly aware that it does not work for me. I end up being miserable and making all sort of mistakes when I think mostly with my head.
For instance: last Wednesday my guidance told me to travel. It ignored it because I just got home on Sunday and it was more 'reasonable' to apply the money to a bill.
It turned out that

I missed an important event by not going
I was alone instead of with friends for the full moon manifestation of a project
I ended up in a bitter disagreement that would not have happened had I traveled
my kids spent most of the week end away from home and did not really need me here

So I am back to thinking from the heart. It works much better for me and things fall into place when I do. And even if they did not, I would have no regrets. And THAT is worth all the money in the world!

Juice Feasting Day 2: Better Already

1- I woke up refreshed and with lots of energy

2- Headache is gone

3- Cold Symptoms Much Improved

I was fighting a sniffelling, puffy eyed cold since Wednesday night and this morning all that is left is a scratchy throat.

4- I can use my shoulder freely for the first time in 2 months!

In October my left shoulder started hurting. By Christmas it was really bad. I had an MRI a month ago and I need to start physical therapy as soon as my PT is available. Most days the pain was so bad on certain movements that I it brought tears to my eyes.
This morning I am able to move the arm freely and the pain in my hand is nearly all gone. I can only assume that the swelling & inflammation in the shoulder are subsiding already? I had no idea it could happen so fast!

Of course I am doing energy work at the same time as I am juicing which could be why I am improving so fast. Inflammation is the body's way of expression anger. And I started dealing with that yesterday (see here). So it all makes sense!

Till I have more news: keep warm!

Juice Feasting Day 1: Grumpy

1- Grumpy

First thing I noticed today, Day 1 of juice feasting was that I was grumpy. As in the phrase 'grumpy gut' I guess!

Every time I was grumpy or hurting emotionally (it was a challenging day!) I wanted to reach out for food I like. It's all good stuff: organic, wholesome, mostly plant based. Nothing wrong with the food itself. I have no guilt around wanting or eating that kind of food. So look further.

Then it dawned on me that I was not hungry. I wanted to chew. I wanted to put my teeth together and remembered that:

- I was told recently that when I repress anger I speak through clenched teeth. I had never noticed personally but to my horror it turned out to be true!

- I realized a few days ago that I am much more angry and more often than I had previously acknowledged to myself. I vowed there and then that the anger had to go, which is probably why I am now guided to detox again.

I stayed with that feeling of wanting to chew. Chew someone's face off? Maybe the face of the people who first fed me solids as a baby instead of holding me and loving me? It felt like endless repressed rage grumbling in my belly. I realized the reason I am not normally aware of that dormant rage is because I appease it by eating however healthily I eat.

Stay with the anger. Past the anger is this awful feeling of emptiness, loneliness. Like a world without the beloved, without the Beloved. I am reminded of how difficult it is to be incarnate sometimes, how the body separates us. The clenched teeth, the anger, the wanting to eat, however healthy the food, a cover up for sadness and for the pain of loneliness.

2- Speak the truth

The second thing was that because I was not 'stuffing things down' I was feeling and telling my truth and not being placated or scared out of it.

3- Needing More Sleep

I was suddenly exhausted and slept for over 4 hours in the afternoon. I remember this happening the first time as juice feasted as well.
Which is why I started on a snow storm Friday I was not working knowing I had 4 days ahead of me without serious obligations.

4- Thumping Headache

Often happens at the beginning of a fast. Hope it does not last long. Drinking more water by mixing it half and half in the juices.

5- Needing More Heat

Of course drinking juice cools the body, which is why we drink so much of it in summer. So it's not ideal food for a snow storm in New England. I am keeping the house a little warmer than usual to be comfortable.

The first time I fasted 2 years ago I got off my couch after 5 days a completely different person, much calmer and more peaceful. Hopefully it will happen again this time and I will reach another level of peace when all the old toxins that still hold the painful memories are gone.

Juice Feasting

I have been fasting, juicing and eating mostly raw for close to 2 years now.

Last September my guidance was very clear and said: "Detox now. Start today."
I ignored it because I had had yet another long detox in the spring and was not emotionally ready to start again. So I forgot that being a spiritual seeker often puts you on a rigorous training program and I babied out of it.

I should not have though because a week later I had swine flu, which was a severe detox in itself for about 7 weeks! It turned out that getting sick was a much harsher way to give my body what it was asking for than a controlled detox program! You can read all about it here.

Last Saturday a friend mentioned juicing to me. Then a friends' tweet took me to a great article on juice fasting and at the same time a colleague mentioned on FaceBook that she is on a Blessed Herbs Detox. This time I am going to listen to the message (it is loud and clear enough) before the Cosmic Hammer falls on my head or lungs again!

I prefer the idea of feasting, which is abundant, to fasting, which sounds like famine and deprivation really. And I am not deprived since I can drink all the fruit and vegetable juice that I want. Bring on the vitamins and minerals and out with the toxins!

I started juice feasting today Friday. Let's see how far I go with it. I'll keep you posted.

Beloved Divine

Sometimes the Divine speaks to me directly because I need to be silent, I need peace and quiet, I need to regroup, re-balance, walk alone.
The voice is very clear at such times:

I can tell the difference between various angels.
I know which archangel is holding me in its embrace or singing to me.
I know which guide is talking to me.
The visions are very vivid
The words are very clear
I can even hear music sometimes.

At such times I wish I was an accomplished painter and musician so I could render and share with you what I see and hear! Maybe when I am not a mother of young children I can become an artist!

I am also keenly aware of Divine presence.
I can 'hear' Divine inspiration.
Synchronicities are obvious, clear and strong.
The signs are easy to read.
I feel oneness with all of creation, I feel that my conscious and my unconscious are aligned with my Divine purpose.
I sleep a lot at such times (so my conscious critical mind does not satnd in the way of miracles) and I am taught a lot in my sleep.

Then inevitably all this clarity dims. I used to think that I had 'done something wrong' or 'lost it' when that happened and I used to feel very sad, like a neglected lover.

But now I know what the lack of clarity in my direct communication with the Divine means:

I have to go out into the world and make connections with others.
I need to create community.
I need to receive guidance and protection from the people I love.
I need to trust other healers, mentors, friends, beautiful inspirational people who have their own connection to the Divine and who are happy to share it with me.

So it is a process of expansion and contraction. Like breathing: in, out. Like a love affair: you get closer then you need a little distance, you need to go see your friends again.

My primary love, my joy, my pleasure in life is to sit in the Heart of God of course. Just my Beloved and I. And as in all intense love stories, I need to create some space, to see the face of my Beloved reflected in all the faces of Creation while knowing that my Beloved is absolutely the Source of my Joy.

Can you be held responsible for being inspirational?

There are people in my life who inspire me every time I interact with them. They are the fountain I keep going back to, they refresh me or they fire me up, they balance me, they challenge me, they nurture me.

Last night I received a long email from my Spiritual mother, mentor, Reiki Master and homeopath of 13 years. I love her more than I can ever say.

I love her because she nurtured me, she held me, she was on the phone when no one else was there.

I love her because she showed me how to be a good mother to my kids.

I love her because she held me accountable, she showed me that I was scared and angry, she forgave me when I was, she soothed me and taught me self respect.

I love her because she is a Goddess, she loves life, she is honest, she never hides her own struggles, she learns WITH you, not FOR you.

She showed me how to trust again.

She saw that I was a healer and she taught me her craft, from the heart.

Most of all, she saved my children from the quagmire of my own childhood. She created a future for me by giving my children a loving present and a future.

Ask an Angel

Because Planetary Awakening abilities are being revealed now, many of us are increasingly able to see, hear or feel angels. And we can talk about it openly. Some of us are also realizing that we have some angelic qualities even though we are still very human (see my November 2009 posts Angels Aren't Nice and Protecting Human Angels)

Working with Angels is so sweet. It is different every time. It is always very moving, emotional. Because your emotions 'move' you and are the gateway to your spirituality, so Angels move you into your spirituality in a variety of small and large ways.

But the main thing to remember when living with angels is that:

Angels NEVER interfere.
Angels only intervene when we intercede.

In other words angels respect your free will and they will guide and support only when you ask.

So ask. Angels are absolutely respectful & they listen to you: ask them for guidance and support, for protection, for miracles. But ask! Very rarely do angels intervene uninvited and that's usually in life and death situations.

A Healing Valentine

A Healing Valentine

I am sure you have all noticed that Valentine's day is upon us. Hard to avoid, right?

I really like these portal days where the collective puts its attention onto a specific aspect of life. I find it makes it a lot easier to do energy work around that issue and to personally move forward with it.

If you are in a couple, well, it's easy: you enjoy the day with your loved one, soak up the attention, enjoy loving, practice receiving. Bask in desire.

Desire and love are at the core of life force after all.

If you are happily single, you have the same opportunity to concentrate your energy on desire and love. Your desire for life and love for self.

And if being single is uncomfortable or downright painful, it's ok, you can tell me: I've been there! If you are still hurting, still feeling the heartache of previous relationships, Valentine's Day is as good as an anniversary to work on removing some of the past hurts and to think about what it is that you do want.

I love days when old pain and confusion are so raw and obvious that it is really easy to catch and heal them.

It so happens that Second Sunday with Sophie falls on Valentine's Day this year. Which is very fortunate since my spiritual and healing practice is all about bringing more love in my life and yours!

Are You Enjoying the Journey?

You are in this focused time/space reality with goals and objectives that call you because as you identify a desire it literally summons life through you. Life summoning through you is what it's all about --it's not the completion of anything.

As always with Abraham in my life, the quote was timely as I have been struggling with some choices that are really hard and unpleasant for right now but are supposed to bring high yield results in the future. I have been very uneasy in my heart with such choices without really being able to justify to those around me why I would want to walk away from such good logical, rational decisions. And I speak as a responsible single Mom of three who had to plan and prioritize and make very practical "miracles" happen for years. I am not coming from a totally airy-fairy lalaland sort of perspective.

Here is why the logical, rational, painful choices have bothered me: because each day of the journey is really a brick that we build our lives with. So if the journey is bitter and arduous and we build the foundations of our lives on something bitter, difficult and painful, how are we going to enjoy the end result? How are we going to enjoy being in a place built on a vibration of pain? It will be too late by then and the sweetness will be gone.

Of course the other way is to accept, to forgive, to learn and change until what we are going through becomes a breeze instead of being arduous. Then we are always in a vibration of love and we build our foundation on love and cooperation.

The journey IS all there is, as we never really 'get there', not even when we leave our body and move into eternity. So enjoying the journey as opposed to betting everything on some 'destination' really becomes paramount.

Learning What We Need to Know

And if you abort the learning in its original form because

it was too painful
or you felt you did not have the time
or the people you were learning with did not want to learn with you anymore,

I can guarantee you that the lesson will come back in another guise, with other people, other jobs, different organizations, maybe even in different places you may live in.

Until you have learned what it is that you needed to learn. Then the people who were playing that game with you will

either change
or their role will change in your life
or they somehow drop out of your life, sometimes quite fast

You know what you are learning right now, because the people who are the most difficult to handle or be with in your life right now are the ones you are learning it with. You are being mirrors and teachers for each other. What is the true core of your issue with them? What buttons are they pushing?

Allowing Yourself to Receive

A very good friend offered some help yesterday. "No thank you, there is no need, I got this" was the answer from this very capable experienced single Mom whose secret mission is to save the whole entire world on her own. It's been my mission for as long as I can remember. Read: infancy. Now you know there's an issue right there at the crux of that response!

This morning I woke up realizing I had most probably hurt his feelings and that his intentions were good. No need to create ill will. So it got me thinking: why do I do it? Why do I push people away when they want to help me?

Let's peel the layer of this onion.

It used to be because I felt unworthy of their help. Undeserving. Last spring I worked on self image and therefore self-esteem issues so I thought I was good to go when we solved that.

Nearly.

It came up that I hated the sound of my own voice. Healed that with a wonderful music teacher who is also a great healer. I am ok with my voice now. We're friends.

Then I met @38harmony who taught me how to breathe and correct my posture for enhanced health and energy. All sorts of feelings came up then. "Keep breathing" he says calmly with a knowing smile. So I keep breathing and letting go.

I realized this morning that I push people away because I "don't want to be a burden to them". OK, where did THAT come from? Long boring story about my birth creating heavy responsibility on young parents, no money and the resulting shame creating social isolation. As an infant I absorbed my parents' emotions and believed them to be my own. It took me over 40 years to get to that? aaarrrrgghhhhh! There's more to it but all in the same vein and I think I've made my point. You can fill in the blank with your personal life details if this story resonates with you.

Good news is I called, apologized, said I'd love to accept the help and to learn differently and better. Getting there...

Why do you do what you do? And when was the last time you stopped to ask yourself that?

Of course, I mean: What is the overall plan? Where are you going with this?

But I also mean: If you die tomorrow, will you be satisfied with the everyday process to date as well as with the end result you are seeking? Are you enjoying the ride? Why do you do what you do in the way you are doing it?

Why do you do what you do? I don't have an answer for you. I can only share with you the question I ask myself daily and say honestly that the reason I do what I do everyday, with family, friends and clients, is because I am interested in the potential for love, growth and spiritual awareness.

So, why do YOU do what YOU do?

Who Owns Your Time?

Who owns your time?

Do you own your time? And therefore do you own yourself?

Does your tribe own you? Do you do what your peers (friends, colleagues, family or neighbors) expect? Can you bear the thought of doing anything that would lead them to decide that they feel betrayed? Do you vacation where they expect you to? Do you eat food that makes you sick because they give it to you?

Does your career own you? Do you do things for your career advancement that are detrimental to your health, your family, your children's development, your self-respect?

Do your parents still own you? Are you still abiding by your childhood standards even when you know they hurt you or undermine your chosen lifestyle?

Do you respond to the fear that lives in your reptilian brain? Does your desire to avoid fear drive what you do and don't do and so own much of your time?

Do your children own you? Do you do what they want or expect even when they don't need you to?

Does the bank own your time and therefore you because you are so far in debt?

Does money own you because you chose it over creativity, time, health, rest, respect?

Do old unconscious patterns from early life own you and create painful situations that keep repeating themselves?

At some point of my life I have answered yes to all of the above. As I mature the trick seems to be able to know which mode I am in at any given moment. And to try to own myself and my time by making decisions that are loving for myself so that I have extra love to give and share. Overflowing, abundant, joyful love.

Anything that comes between you and love, between you and creativity, between you and the life you really desire owns you and your time. Anything that enhances and fosters your creative and loving desires, you own and you create joy when you give it time.

So, who owns YOUR time? And are you happy with the situation?

Love is Easy

Love is not easy as in 'cheap and easy', nasty. Love is easy as in 'just happens'. As in 'just flows'.

As soon as what you think of as love becomes complicated, as soon as you need to justify it, you are not 'in love' anymore. You are 'in wound', 'in fear' or 'in pain'.

Love just is, just happens, just flows. Anything else might be interesting, but it's not love.

Love is easy: it's the flow of Divine Light made into life. Love is life. Love just is. And just being is easy, it flows.

Everyday Intuition

What does it mean to be an energy healer, an intuitive, an empath?

In my case it means that I receive a lot of information all the time, which can make everyday life much easier and simpler.

For example recently a friend of mine was looking for a work position in a scarcely populated rural area where very few jobs come up. Last week I woke up from a nap with a very clear voice saying: "look in X town for such positions and tell her it's ok to move there".

My rational mind thought "Right. Sure! " The voice became more insistent and said "Tell her that".

I was secretly going to dismiss the direction to inform her because I did not know how she would take it so the order came really clearly: "TEXT her, NOW!!"
When I hear that tone of voice I have learned from experience that it is much better if I do as I am told.

So I texted my friend with the information. She was touched that I would want to do so. So it was worth it just for that.

She also checked in that town and there was a position. Past the deadline. Phone call: job still open. She applied yesterday.

I guess the 'voice' knew something I did not.

And before you tell me that I knew of the vacancy because I had heard it on the news or read it in the newspaper, forgotten it and stored it as a dormant memory: I don't read the paper or listen to news ever. So it had to come from somewhere else!

Eating Raw

I mentioned in a Thanksgiving post that I dropped from a size 10/12 to a small 4 in 9 months without trying and without 'dieting' (meaning that I was eating as much as I wanted, whenever I wanted and a very varied diet). I was asked how it happened. The answer is really simple:

1- I started eating 90 % raw (that's because I choose to eat some meat, fish and eggs that I prefer to cook and a little bread)
2- I detoxed on and off for those 9 months (I was using Colonix at times but that is a matter of personal choice)
3- I also detoxed through juicing for several days at a time.
4- I did a lot of energy work to heal the negative emotions that came up as I stopped stuffing them down with food. Four years ago I successfully overcame an addiction to spending so I knew I could do it with food as well.
5- I eat A LOT of green leafy veggies (even hide them in my morning smoothie)

I eat 90% raw when the weather is warm.

I eat 70 or 80% raw when it gets cold because

I find it easier to stay warm when I eat warm food, which tends to be cooked. When my body feels spring coming I will be craving more raw food again and it will be a natural transition.
Eating is a very sociable activity in my life and I enjoy eating with my friends and family around the holidays.
You can't beat the smell of soup in the house on a snowy day!

The higher the proportion of raw food the more I can honestly say that I can eat as much as I want because when you eat raw, you get hungry very suddenly but when your body has had what it needs, you just don't want any more from one mouthful to the next. So most people don't over eat on raw. I know I don't.

The benefits of eating high raw have been for me:

increased vitality : this is why I went raw
end of low blood sugar episodes
vastly improved moods, generally joyful now
vastly improved sleep patterns
clear skin
weight loss (a welcome side effect)
deeper, more accurate intuition
easier, faster energy work
improved taste and smell

I have been eating high raw for 18 months now. It's a lifestyle. This is purely a personal account and my personal opinion. I had the support of a friend when I got started. Now I have the support of other friends who saw how much I changed for the better and who are eating raw or more raw. Support makes a big difference when you start eating raw.

In the past month three Twitter followers have told me that my tweets and this blog 'held them together' during 'dark times'. One said that it 'saved his life'. I love them with my whole heart! I am SO thankful that they shared with me and made me feel valued and so thankful that I am a part of their life.

So thankful that I myself received the love and support I needed so that I can be here today.

I was not always happy. I too used to have very dark times from the age of 7, in my teens and 20s. As well as the depression and PTSD I was diagnosed with gout, endometriosis, pre-cancer, IBS and asthma. In my 30s I refused to be diagnosed but had all the symptoms of breast cancer at the same time as Crone's disease.

I spent 6 years rebuilding my body holistically (no medication) and I have been re-patterning my emotions and thoughts DAILY for about 12 years.

I am now completely symptom free and am joyful most days and I have gone from a size 10/12 to a size 4 in a year, without trying and without dieting. I can even eat wheat bread again! Hooray!!

I am thankful that the love I received from so many over the years is being passed on and is blossoming into the lives of my beloved brothers and sisters. Thank you for sharing your lives with me!

Sane is Safe

When we start developing healing powers, we are often scared by the information we are given, by our new abilities or by our power.

This is no small matter as rapid or deep change can really

unsettle our self image
disorganize our thinking
make us doubt ourselves
create depression
put pressure on our relationships with others

Of course this is all good because through the cracks new patterns emerge. That is how we create.

But at the same time, you need to keep yourself sane because that is the best way to keep yourself safe energetically. So:

take it easy
change gradually
do whatever is familiar and reminds you of who you are used to being while consciously changing certain parts of your life/thinking/being.

What I Am Worth

I really got it this week end: how much I earn and what kind of relationships I have with people have little to do with my skills, my ability or what I want. Instead they are a direct reflection of what I UNCONSCIOUSLY believe I am worth or I deserve.

My childhood programming, unresolved past life memories and soul choices combine in my unconscious to create a vibration that I am not even aware of most of the time. That vibration attracts situations and people that are a compatible match and that mirror me.

So:

1- I can stop blaming myself for 'messing up' because in most cases I am not aware I am doing it

2- I am now watching myself to catch what I really believe unconsciously, in spite of my best conscious intentions

3- I am even more grateful than before for all the wonderful people in my life who are my mirror, whether what they bring me looks positive or negative: they are only pointing me towards my truth. And that truth is that I am Love, finding my way back to the Divine. And it's much easier to see what is going on with me when I look at others than when I try to look at my own nose, which is really hard to do if you've ever tried!

Protecting Human Angels

Tuesday is always such a good day to think about protection and healthy boundaries. I had so many great comments after my Angels Aren't Nice post. Thank you everyone! I love it when my thinking aloud in a blog turns to dialog.

Two main points have come from all this:

1- ACCEPT THE DICHOTOMY INTO ONENESS

if you are a human angel, or earth angel, the more you accept both parts of yourself: the angel AND the human, the more people around you are likely to accept them as well and allow for you to have a range of reactions without always expecting you to be sweet and angelic or on the other hand, super logical and grounded.
I am really hoping to be able to mesh both aspects of myself into ONE functioning whole.

2- CREATE SAFE BOUNDARIES
of course everyone needs to have good boundaries but because angels in their original disembodied state are programmed, designed, willing to always help and be of service, to always say "Yes, I will protect and support you" it is VITALLY important for human angels to learn r to say no so we don't burn out.
While in angel form we are nimble and can keep going endlessly. While in a human body, we must protect the body in order to thrive. And it does NOT come naturally to most of us angels.

So these are the two ways I am practicing to protect my energy as a human angels.

Angels Aren't Nice

Angels aren't nice.

They are compassionate. They are helpful. They are disembodied and therefore more nimble in their actions.

Angels love you more than you will ever comprehend
while in a human body.

Angels will save your life or your children's. Whisper guidance in your ear. Sing to you as you awake. Embrace you when you need to be held. Give you a parking spot if that is what you really desire. They can be very funny at times.

But their aim is not to be 'nice'. Their aim is to do what's right and to support you.

At times that might mean being tough, making hard choices, yielding power.

The wrath of an angel can be as vast as its love.

The same of course goes for human angels.

People often feel my love for them first. I send healing their way, remove pain, help with a 'miracle' and they say: "You are an angel". They are right of course since I could be described as a human angel. I have been called various things: a spiritual Master. An Awakened Goddess. Even a Saint in some traditions. Such a wonderful varied world of perception out there!
All being a human angel means is that I can read someone's energy, know what they feel then think a positive thought and remove their pain. It's just a normal human ability, that most have not uncovered yet.

But back to my point. Then my new friend or client realizes that I am quite happy to speak the truth and use my sword to cut through the knot of ignorance if need be. My foul mouth surprises some. I am happy to love all of creation. All of my creation. I embrace and love the shadow of each individual as much as their Light, their sweetness as well as their bitterness. And I feel personally responsible for all of who they are in my world since they are a mirror of me and we are One.

Angels aren't nice. They are real. And multi-faceted, just like everybody else!

In the beautiful words of @LeeHiller : "Angels are strong fierce and often battle ready but are kind, compassionate and want us to do well they are complex beauty. There are days I wear my battle Amour & feel like am an Archangel. Other days made of Love & light. Yes the gentle soul & fierce warrior it's all one. I often find it a conflict within my own heart."

Lee's deep comments are making me think that I need to be better at accepting both aspects within myself so that it is better accepted by those who interact with me. Thank you Lee!

The Void Becomes a Flow of Love

tomorrow, well, I don't know what to tell you about tomorrow before it happens. I have a feeling we are looking at an A-tom bomb of love, beauty and creative inspiration flowing through our world. If you do nothing else, go sit by the river or imagine that you are. Actually it just came to me to tell you this:

TOMORROW THE VOID BECOMES A FLOW OF LOVE

and depending on how sensitive you are to that strand of creative energy in the world, it might just knock you out with bliss!

11.11 Portal

I was raised and learned to think in a most rational, Cartesian environment. So I am a true skeptic. But 5 years ago, I noticed strange things started to happen in my life every August, every 11.11 and every Easter. A couple of websites gave me useful information. Mostly I had to relax into feeling what was happening and pay attention.

Those times are portals in our Western culture. A portal is a place of choice. You can stay on the side that you are on or you can cross over to the other side. Into the unknown, the new experience, the potential. 11.11 even looks like two pillars on either side of a portal.

Four years ago I changed continents on 11.11 without having consciously planned it ahead because I left on the 10th but landed on the 11th. And that landing was the beginning of 18 months of the deepest (and most painful!) transformation in my life, that culminated in my body being completely healed and my finding Oneness with the Divine. I knew when I landed on 11.11 and got off the plane that I had landed into a new life, another reality. And it proved to be true.

Around this time last year I met and became friends with someone who took me to a whole new dimension of my spirituality, all the way into the Void of Creation.

This year I am living through 11.11 with a whole team of amazing individuals who understand my work and support me into creating here what I brought back from the Void.

11.11 marked the end of the WWI. The end of horror on the largest scale in human memory at that time. Every year on 11.11 we honor our veterans (it's Remembrance Day in the UK, Armistice day in France). And in being reminded of what soldiers go through we are given the choice every year:

- to take action towards peace
- to set respectful, workable boundaries
- to ascend higher towards Oneness
- to create a future we really want to be a part of

Every year on 11.11 you can walk into the Light, into Mastery, without dying.

Mostly the detox work happens during the 3 weeks preceding the portal. All you have to do today is let yourself be, dream your future, ascend. Honor your protectors and the protector in you.

It's Not Just You!

In the past 3 weeks the universal energies that facilitate our awakening and ascension have been very intense again. Someone mentioned 'crazy energy fluctuations'

It has created physical and emotional detox leading to more clarity. Of course where there is clarity more Light can come in, which is the whole purpose: to be lighter and more enlightened.

This is what I have been hearing from clients, friends and family:

- Arguments, negotiating new boundaries, experimenting with different roles, healing co-dependency with some people taking more responsibility and others letting go of their burden have been common.

- Needing to rest

- Needing to sleep so we can dream, receive new information and re-arrange our thoughts

- Lots of new insights about the hidden truth in our lives

All this leads to increased self-respect, increased respect in our dealings with others, better communication, more time and space to love, play and have fun instead of going round the same old defeating patterns.

We are being made ready for 11.11 in a couple of days. More about that in my next post.

Raw Chocolate Truffles

As some of you know I eat 'high raw' which in my case means 80-90% raw food. It gives me more energy than I have ever had. Usually only my last meal of the day, shared with my kids, is partly cooked food. If you know me you will also know my passion for good tasty food and in particular for everything chocolate! Raw cocoa is packed with magnesium and I need a lot of that for all the energy play I do every day!

Today I wanted to have fun and improvised some Raw Chocolate Truffles (loosely based on a Raw Chocolate Fudge a friend gave me 3 weeks ago. )

Quantities are approximate, depending on how much you want to make and how sweet you like your chocolate.

2 thirds cup raw cocoa powder
pinch of maca (careful: it can be an aphrodisiac!) or any superfood of your choice
1 tbs raw coconut butter (NOT the coconut oil)
1 tsp raw cocoa butter, grated or shaved with a fork
1 tbs raw honey
Agave powder and liquid agave to sweeten to taste (yes, just taste it! LOL!)
2 tbs Tahini, enough to turn the above ingredients into a paste
1 tsp cocoa nibs and 6 chopped raw cashew nuts if you want to add some crunchy consistency.

refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Spoon into truffle shape and roll into more cocoa powder, either neat or sweetened with agave powder.

Emotional Detox With the Flu

I think we only really suffer from things like the flu if we have been resisting an emotional or spiritual change so the physical body takes over and 'grounds' us to force us to think about the consequences of our actions like a parent does with a reckless teenager!

And while each individual person reacts to a 'bug' in a different way, each illness also has its own general purpose and challenges us in specific areas of our lives to give us a chance to heal them.

Which brings me to the current 'swine' flu. It has all the usual flu symptoms but some are unusual or unusually strong.

1. very high fever, repeatedly: that's good because a fever is a great purifying fire that burns away toxins in your body, including old emotional toxins. As well as creating an environment in which it is difficult for the virus to thrive of course. Fever can also alter your perception and allow you to see things you don't usually notice.

2. vomiting and diarrhea in some people. Unusual for a flu, but more detoxing right there!

3. of course this flu gives you the usual shivers. But it is also particularly painful in your JOINTS which means that it is cleaning impurities in there, for those of us who have control issues and don't let go easily.

4. deep breathing issues with this flu, which is about repressed and unexpressed SADNESS. It seems to clean old, very old sadness, all the way to the bottom of your lungs. (unless you had done that part of the work before of course!)

5. violent, painful sinus infection: that's about not crying when you need to as well as irritation with someone who is close to you. So let go, cry and say what you have to say to your loved ones!

6. lasting in many cases 3 to 5 weeks, this flu is unusually long and tiring and therefore really debilitating: again that's about letting go. When you are so tired that you are disabled, the only thing you can do is let go, allow other people to help and learn to receive!

7. the swine flu keeps coming back. Every time you think you're getting better, it comes back, with another twist, another layer, a deeper issue: it feels like the Divine Hand grabbing you back and saying: "Not so fast! There's more: LOOK DEEPER! SURRENDER into it instead of fighting it!"

8. Because it is such a serious illness, you really need to REST. In our society of super heroes who can keep going for ever, this flu only goes away when you SLEEP A LOT. For days.

9. It makes you hungry. Unusual isn't it? Most flus spoil your appetite or numb your taste buds. This one makes you feel like you want to EAT. Makes sense to me: it goes well with REST

With this particular virus spreading so fast and affecting so many I really think that swine flu is supporting Planetary Awakening by guiding us to:

detox sadness
detox resentment
detox toxic relationships
eat
rest

Truly deeply happy people (and therefore most children) avoid it all together or have it more lightly and recover much faster than sad or resentful individuals is my observation.

The Divine and our bodies are so wise and always find a way to get us to let go and grow!

I hope for YOU that you can learn all those lessons gracefully and WITHOUT getting the flu!

I started as a healer when I became a Reiki Master 11 years ago. I still use Reiki daily: it's in my hands so it goes into everything I touch, cook, draw, paint and use.I also use it for "hands on" and remote healing to reduce pain pretty much instantly. It can also be used to smooth conflict and harmonize relationships. Over time it has become second nature to me and I use it as naturally and automatically as I breathe.

I teach Reiki to social workers, medical doctors and to parents. I attune their kids and show them how to use it to strengthen their loving bonds, to repair trust, and to lessen physical pain.

There are so many different types of Reiki nowadays and Reiki combines so well with whatever spiritual practice you may have, the possibilities are truly infinite.

How do you reach Enlightenment?

At the moment it is being made easier by the fact that the whole of creation is raising its vibration like never before. Many more are becoming 'enlightened' more easily. Having said that, some paths will bring you there faster than others:

1- spontaneous enlightenment experience, often while in nature

2- near death experience

having lost 'everything'
losing everyone in our lives or believing that we have
extensive periods of celibacy. As practiced by most organized religions. But it seems to 'happens' to very spiritual individuals, at some point in their life, even outside of organized religions.
giving up whatever makes you complacent (addictions, even to everyday food or spending; co-dependent relationships; soul destroying jobs; abusive families...)

It's because all the above are crutches and when they are removed from our lives we learn to rely on our inner selves and on the Divine.

All we have discussed so far is what brings us to the portal. To the Heart of the Divine.

How do we stay there after we enter?

That's when the real SURRENDER happens. Again and again.

How?

Lose yourself in Love. Seriously: what do you have to lose? "Remember Creator so much that you are forgotten." said Rumi

Surrender, surrender, surrender, surrender, surrender. Surrender the 'how'.

Let the waves from the Divine Ocean take down the walls that surround your heart.

Practice daily. Every second of every day. Want it. Think about it, make it your focus, have a strong intention! The universe will oblige and deliver.

and we watch life create itself.

From the brink of despair, destruction or delusion, a miracle happens.

The wall turns into a gateway and Light comes streaming through, photons turning into matter, reality being transformed in

wave after wave of creation.

That is how life is created in our universe. On all planes of our existence. Catch a wave and learn to surf!

The Portal of Enlightenment

What is this portal that I spoke of on Tuesday August 4? The portal to the Heart of God.

The portal was always there. It used to dwell in the heart of some very special Saints who had given up their lives in service to humanity and whose ego had become non existent. These special people often belonged to organized religion but not always. When you were sincere in your quest for the Divine, you were eventually brought to one of them and they could show you how to become one with God. That is what we call "Enlightement" = being taken into the Light, becoming one with the Light, becoming the Light. Being taken into the mystery.

I was taken through the Heart of my own teacher in November 06 and again in December 06. And again in December 07.

Why so many times? Once you reach enlightenment, that's it, right? Not! Enlightenment was the gateway, the portal. A rite of passage, not a destination. It was just another milestone. Most of us were so attached to the paradigm of duality that we would cross over, for a moment, but come back to our everyday life, blinded, blissful, happy and transformed but still in the same life.

In March of 2009 something major happened. Something extraordinary shifted. Have you heard of "the Shift"? ok, well that was last March, guys. It's happened, done, stop looking and waiting and keep moving forward: we've done it!

Since then, It's been possible to cross over to the other side, to the Light side, into the Heart of God and stay there.

Of course there is still change and progression, because there is still creation in motion. And where there is motion, we go this way and that and forever try to stay close to a point of balance and that requires effort and regular course correction.

So the Portal to enlightenment is there, always. It is easier to access on certain days. But it is always there now. Find it in YOUR life and cross when you are ready.

Gateways in Multi-dimensional Time

If you think that time is linear and if you think that something will take a long time to happen, then it will.

If you think that time is multi-dimensional and that each second contains eternity then your consciousness can go into another world, into the past, into the future or into ANY plane of existence at any moment of the linear time. When you are in that other dimension, you change, heal or create whatever is necessary for the highest good of all.

When you live that way each moment contains eternity because each moment contains the heart of God and when you live in the heart of God everything is possible.

Of course in order to live on earth you rejoin linear time and start living in sync with others again. But who you are is changed and so what you attract is different. Miracles start happening in seconds. You can sit at your computer, wish with all your heart to talk to someone and somehow, against all odds, habits and reason, they suddenly appear on your Twitter stream, in your FaceBook or send an email. Technology makes this possible you think? Before I even used a computer when I wished in that way people would write to me that day, phone me or literally appear on my door step demanding that I let them into my home .

Miracles are real. They happen in the heart of God. They materialize in linear time every day as soon as that part of your being is aligned to the heart of God. This is what I call Quantum Healing. Call it what you want but DO it! Open gateways in multi-dimensional time.

Practicing Surrender

Surrender. Sounds scary? It can be. Because we are not used to it. Because we have had bad experiences of being out of control.

So we need to practice.

First surrender the small things. Don't start with letting go of your day job and not knowing how your mortgage will get paid! Start small, with something that does nor matter so much. I think that's why people like experimenting with things like finding a parking space. It's manageable. If you don't find one it's not the end of the world and if you do it's so gratifying.

Then ask for some people to show up in your life. Ask for small sums of money. Ask for appointments to be changed or canceled, prices to be dropped so you can afford something you want. Small measurable things that you can prove happened. Pay attention to your circumstances. Notice when your wishing and surrendering the 'how' brings you what you want.

And remember: surrender is voluntary. Surrender is NOT submission. It is not forced. You are not being beaten down: you are willingly letting go. And letting God carry you.

The second part is gratitude. Surrender into gratitude. Immerse your self into it. Lose your self into it. Let gratitude flood you, overwhelm you, submerge your heart.

Do NOT take my word for it. Try it for YOURSELF: wish, surrender, be grateful. Repeat.

Abuse is Confusing

The worst thing about having been routinely abused is that
YOU DON'T KNOW

You don't know that you were abused.

You don't really know how bad it was until much, much later.

You don't know what is 'normal'.

You don't know what is healthy.

You don't know what real love is.

You don't know who to trust.

You don't even know how to trust.

You don't know what is right.

You don't know how to react. (You tend to freeze or over-react.)

You don't know whether to be quiet or whether to be vocal.

You don't know if you can trust your instinct.

You don't know if telling the truth is going to make things better. Or much worse.

You don't know if you will survive.

You don't know what you are worth.

You don't know how to love.

You don't know what a healthy boundary feels like.

You don't know if what you 'naturally' want to do is healthy or a habit of protecting yourself.

You don't know why you are sick all the time.

You don't know why you are lovable.

You don't know why your relationships fail. Routinely.

You don't know.

Yes, the worst thing about routine abuse is that it's very confusing.

And the younger you were abused, the worst it is. But the above also applies to adult victims of abuse.

Thankfully there are ways to recover. There are countless therapies that will help you peel away the layers of pain and confusion. Increasingly there are therapies (such as the ones I practice) that reprogram your neuronet completely and create you anew, the way you were meant to turn out. To allow you to find your true human and Divine core. Your Love Compass deep inside of you. The place inside yourself that you can rely on.

So you know

So you know who to trust

So you know you are lovable

So you learn how to trust

How to love

So you know that you are, after all, a divine spark of love and as such entitled to en-JOY-ing the experience that we call life.

If you know someone who keeps messing up big time, who looks confused a lot, who is stuck in self defeating patterns, chances are they have been abused. However together they look on the surface or in some aspects of their lives. Even when you know you can't live with them, send them love and accept them deep in your heart, where you create miracles. So they can start finding their own Love compass.

Abuse is not forever. YOU can recover. Together we learn.

Harmon Hathaway, President of the American Yoga Association will be joining us this month as we discuss breathing and how it helps us with grounding.

Harmon teaches alignment yoga and has a number of videos on YouTube explaining alignment yoga.

During our discussion we will discuss how proper breathing allows us to become a more embodied, spiritual being.

Being Still While in Motion

Tuesday's post was about learning to listen to the whispers of the Divine before She hits us with Her cosmic hammer and wakes us up in our private lives with a disastrous divorce or bankruptcy or on a global level with an earth quake or a tsunami. Do you remember how we all felt affected by the Tsunami of 2004? It was as if the earthquake that created the tsunami shook the foundations of our collective heart and sent a wave of compassion around the globe. We realized that we were all potential disaster victims, wherever we live. We united in a loving response to our brothers and sisters who were traumatized by the event.

We are all one and we know it deep down but we seem to remember it more when we are at risk of losing everything. Because it shakes our complacency.

There are better, more gentle ways of shaking complacency. One of them is to KEEP MOVING.

After a life time (life times) of sitting still I am understanding that I am more aware & listen to the Divine better when I am in movement. That is because the Divine is Love becoming, creation in motion. So when I move I am more in sync with my Creator.

Paying attention and listening does not have to mean sitting still. Sitting meditation has a great calming effect, is proven to reduce stress and teaches us to become centered and to let go, to drop busy work and to stop identifying with what we do. Sitting meditation teaches us to BE. Once we have mastered this it is important to learn to keep that still center WHILE IN MOTION.

So you don't need to sit still to pay attention. You can be aware while in motion. Let your life be a prayer and a meditation in action.

Are You Listening?

Yesterday (Monday) I was swept by a huge wave of energy and at 6:43 PM Sep 28th felt a strong urge to tweet: "When God whispers do you hear her? Or do you wait for the tsunami before you listen?" I thought I was using a metaphor.

All day today (Tuesday) I wanted to cry. Great sobs of deep sadness from the core of me, for no reason i knew of.

Half an hour ago I was stunned to read the headline: "Quake triggers tsunami in the Samoas, killing 34"

Of course I do not think that God sent the tsunami to punish anyone. I do however think that I was tuned to the rumblings of the earth I inhabit and felt the Tsunami coming, hence the imagery I used yesterday.

We need to pay attention.

We need to pay attention!
We need to be aware
We really need to listen

Listen to me: we need to pay attention and to listen! To the rumblings of the earth, to the whisper of the divine, to the world that is cracking around us like a ship in the storm.

Awareness is going to be our only guide through the shift. So please, pay attention and LISTEN and you will be surprised at how much information you can gather. Useful information.

Recently @kelvinringold tweeted: "Winning is relative, you know. Sometimes losing can be winning." which brought me back to one of my favorite topics at the moment: What is success?

By which I mean: what is success for me? I had my upper arm tattooed when I was 22 years old to be reminded daily that when I reached 40 I wanted to be able to look back and have no regrets. (It worked: I still have no regrets!)

So I guess that is my definition of success: being able to look back on my life without regrets. Each day I ask myself: If I knew I was going to die tomorrow, what would I choose now? How would I spend my time and who with? Is there anyone I love who does not know it? Is there anyone I am responsible for who is being neglected in any way? And I make all my decisions based on that. Have done since I was 20.

Never go to bed angry
Tell your kids you love them as they leave for the day
Only allow positive people in your life
Be grateful for what you love, have, enjoy (material and otherwise)

That is success to me.

And having time. Beyond the money I need to function in this society, I highly value having the time to be more than acquiring more 'stuff'. Time to be on my own. To be with others. Having the time to smile, to chat, to listen, to walk, to follow my flow, to grow. Having the time to love. Did you notice how it 'takes time' to really love people and to make them feel loved? That is something I treasure deeply. It's kind of old fashion and not very sexy, I realize that. It never makes newspaper headlines. But it makes me smile. Every time.

How do I measure a result like that? By how much I smile and by how well I sleep at night. By how healthy my immune system is.

Of course there is the Law of Attraction. And the people who tell me I can manifest anything I want. As I have many times in the past. That I can manifest everything I want. I would need to manifest a warehouse to store all my everythings in it! I don't want to manage a large warehouse. So I need to decide what I really want. I mean really. What makes me happy every time? And manifest THAT. Which will be the measure of my success, regardless of what other people think makes THEM happy, material or otherwise.

The Healer at the Water Cooler

Every week someone asks me what I want out of life, what my goals are, why am I not super wealthy yet if I understand the Law of Attraction and if I am as powerful energetically as I say I am. They are all very good questions and I have spent days answering those questions to the best of my ability. With my head. And with my heart.

What I realized today is that neither my head or my heart were going to give me the answer. The answer is in the way I use my time. What do I spend the most time on? What do I do when nobody is watching? What do I naturally want to go back to when I have a free moment? What do I do easily because I am good at it? A Twitter friend recently asked: "Do you know what makes you purr?" In other words what do I do so naturally, so instinctively that I am relaxed enough to want to purr like a comfort oriented, self-centered, always balanced and fall-on-my-feet-no-matter-what cat?

When I was a Marketing Analyst for a large international organization, I was ill about 2 weeks out of 4 for months. And that was in my 20s when my body was youthful and should have been healthy! The only moments I felt relaxed were when I was chatting to people about their lives. Which was fine at the week end but made me feel guilty if it ever "wasted company time". What was happening to this goal oriented workaholic girl who had always given 110% to her job? After a few months it hit me: working in a Marketing Department no longer made my creative juices flow. I ENJOYED listening to people tell me about their lives and their issues all day long. I was good at being there for them and at actively listening as they worked out solutions for themselves. Some people even got paid to do what I naturally enjoyed doing. So instead of being the 'lazy' employee/healer at the water cooler, I became a healer. I had voted with my time.

Twenty years later I need to watch how I use my time again and I am quite certain that it will show me how I can best express my passion for healing and for union with the Divine. Whenever I have followed my heart, my needs have been taken care of. I need to remember that!

Divine Conference

When we are a healers in essence, whether we work as one or not, some days we are more influenced by outer energies than usual. Of course we have free will, we can choose to block things out. My experience of doing so is that it either stunts my growth or results in missed opportunities. The Divine in its infinite wisdom knows what I need when and graciously provides me with it just at the right time. All that is required of me is to pay attention, listen and flow with it.

We all incarnate with a purpose and gifts that allow us to fulfill that purpose. When our incarnation purpose is to be a healer we have built in mechanisms that allow our energy systems to tune into energies outside of our own systems in a very refined way. We really need to honor this process and allow for the times when we are tuned into other frequencies, make space for them, create a life style that allows for the ebb and flow of the energies around us.

I allowed too many people to have access to me around this Equinox and now I am paying the price with a migraine headache resulting from the influx of energy I was meant to tune into and receive being blocked.

If I was a sales person everyone would understand that I need to go to a trade show at certain times of year. If I was a farmer I would have to plant and harvest when the seasons dictate. If I was pregnant I would have to drop all other responsibilities and give birth at a certain point. If I was an MD everyone in my life would make time for me to attend professional conferences. My work is low key and often hidden. But what I learned this month is that the special times in the year when energy is graciously made available to me by the Divine, I am going to show up for that conference.

We Are Loving by Nature
