Sitting on top of the world
The horizon so distant
the space between me and an infinity of possibilities so vast
my breath relaxes and expands at last
i sigh with relief
shame evaporates in an instant
peace settles
and i remember human dignity
I am aware only
of the Love this place was built upon
of the Love that is the foundation of all life
